We’re looking for community input on the public art concepts designed for Sampson and York streets. The $5 million ARRA grant awarded to GEEMD for pedestrian access improvements requires that the District spend 3-5% of grant funds on public art. Here are concept designs for benches, bus shelters, bike racks and trash receptacles, which would serve as functional art pieces on these two streets.
