East End Strategic Vision

VISION: The East End is Houston's window to its past and a gateway to the future. Working together to build on our unique history, our strong business and industrial economy and our culturally diverse neighborhoods, the East End community will become Houston's next great place to do business, work, live and play.

WE'RE ON OUR WAY: Our community has been busy since September, 2006, when the East End Strategic Vision report was first presented. Our thanks to everyone who participated on the Steering Committee, elected officials for their continued support and to the companies who underwrote the final report.

WE'RE COMMITTED: The East End community is dedicated to celebrating and preserving the unique character and history of the East End, and retaining and strengthening its existing businesses and neighborhoods while attracting new development as the community grows and changes.
