District Receives $5 Million in Stimulus Funds

The Houston-Galveston Area Council has announced that the Greater East End District will receive $5 million in stimulus funds from the FTA to be used for Livable Centers Phase 1 infrastructure improvements.

The East End Pedestrian-Transit Acess Plan Stimulus Funding Proposals, Round Two and Round Two, can be downloaded from the files on the left. You can also access the East End Corridor Vision, the concepts from which pedestrian amenities will be designed and built.
