Neighborhood Centers, Inc.
Ripley House, Neighborhood Centers, Inc. brings resources, education and connectivity to underserved East End neighborhoods, helping individuals and communities reach their full potential. The Greater East End District and Ripley House have combined efforts to clean-up trash and litter while educating the community about the environment. Past projects include “Clean Sweep” and “Tower of Trash”, with both organizations working with students to help the public realize the enormity of the litter problem in the East End.
“Neighborhood Centers is proud to be a part of this important effort to improve the quality of life in the East End,” says Felix Fraga, NCI Vice President of External Relations and long-time resident of the East End. “When we all come together for the good of the community, great things are possible.”
Ripley House staff has recently partnered with the management district in a workforce development program that will give students skill trainng in data collection, publication, and marketing through an East End mapping project.
